Welcome Bill

Mission Flamborough would like to extend a warm welcome to Rev. Bill Thornton and his family. Bill is the new senior pastor at Flamborough Baptist Church. May God bless Bill and the entire ministry at FBC! And Bill, see what you can do about Vic and Brian. They're loose canons! : D

A few pics from Encarna

Thanks to everyone who came and participated in the Encarna worship installation. It was a moving time of worship and contemplation at a time when many people needed it the most. Thanks to Mission Flamborough for supporting the event and for giving people the space to be creative within the church. Look forward to more opportunities for emerging forms of worship in the future.

transforming our community

thanks to everyone who came out to the transform prayer service last night. it was great to worship and pray with so many people from the different churches in waterdown / east flamborough. one of the recurring thoughts was that mission flamborough goes beyond a simple demonstration of unity and is really about what God is doing in our community - sometimes through our churches, often not. thanks to eli & the worship band, and to Jim and Bob for organizing it.

New Blog Site

Here is Mission Flamborough's new blog site. The hope is that this can be a forum for people in the Waterdown / East Flamborough area to connect with the various things that Mission Flamborough does.

Mission Flamborough is a network of clergy and profession ministry folks who support one another and team up to provide really effective ministry in the Waterdown / East Flamborough area.

We are thankful for the opportunity to grow together, serve one another, and collaborate in ministry, even though we come from different denominational backgrounds. Networks like this are pretty rare, and so we thank God and are confident that He has some good things in store for our community.
